II. About The Better Workplaces Challenge Cup (BWCC)

SHRMLabs, powered by SHRM, is searching for the most innovative and ground-breaking ideas that will reinvent how we do work. The Better Workplaces Challenge Cup identifies both tech startups and HR practitioners solving critical workplace challenges. The program tracks are:

• BWCC Startup Track: It targets HR Tech startups with innovative technology addressing pressing workplace issues. Candidates compete in a shark tank-like pitch competition for a chance to win $50K.
• BWCC Member Track: It targets HR practitioners with ideas, processes or initiatives that they have built to solve a workplace problem in their organization. Applicants must be SHRM members. The winner receives a free ticket to SHRM24 (including hotel and flight) and $1K.

BWCC Startup Track competition prizes include:

• Exposure throughout the competition in front of the largest HR network in the world, SHRM's 325,000+ members across 165 countries who impact the lives of over 250 Million global workers and their families.
• An expenses paid trip for two (2) representatives to SHRM’s Annual Conference and Exposition in Chicago, IL on June 23-26, 2024.
• A fully sponsored branded booth space in the SHRMLabs Workplace Innovation Zone at SHRM's Annual Conference Expo hall floor.
• A $50,000 cash prize.
